Park Hyatt Washington D.C. introduced a new Picnic in the Park package just in time for summer in the District! The hotel, located in Georgetown’s West End neighborhood at 1201 24th Street, Northwest, is inviting guests to enjoy breakfast, lunch, or dinner during a picnic for two in one of the city’s scenic parks.
The picnic can be held at Georgetown’s waterfront, Hains Point, Rivergate City Park in Old Town Alexandria, and Gravelly Point along the George Washington Memorial Parkway. The meal will be prepared by the culinary team at the award-winning Blue Duck Tavern.
The picnic, paired with an overnight stay at the Park Hyatt, also includes a private roundtrip drive from the hotel to a beautifully detailed picnic setup created by Sutherland Styled Picnics. The private picnic location will be decorated with elegant linens, silverware, plush pillows, candles, and low tables for a pampered experience.
The following meal options will be available:
Breakfast at the Park with house-made croissants, chocolatines, muffins, preserves, house-made granola, freshly brewed coffee or cold brew, and seasonal fresh fruits. Ham, quiche, cheese selections, salmon, and eggs can be added for an additional fee.
Lunch at the Park with a Blue Duck Tavern roasted vegetable salad, green goddess, or Einkorn and Quinoa salad, followed by a slow-roasted beef sandwich on whole wheat, a Sopressata and spotted trotter ham sandwich on a Sicilian Roll, a house-smoked turkey club on Rosemary Focaccia, a Pain Bagnat, or a Portobello Whole Wheat Wrap. Each sandwich is served with house-spiced chips, Blue Duck Tavern chocolate chip cookies, and whole fruit.
Evening at the Park starts with dips such as Market Vegetable Crudités, House Ranch, and Romesco Marinated Olives with crackers. The menu includes artisan charcuterie with a local handcrafted cheese display, fruit jam, bread, crackers, and fig-almond cake. The meal also includes sable cookies and assorted macarons.
