My boyfriend and I spent most of Monday afternoon at Manchester Arndale mall, about a 25-minute tram ride from our Airbnb. The mall had a variety of stores ranging from upscale fashion to pop culture and tech. We explored almost every corner of the mall, stopping at nearly every store to see what we could see.

Dinner at Wagamama in Manchester
Dinner at Wagamama in Manchester

After a while, we decided to head to a ramen spot called Wagamama for dinner since it was around the corner from the mall. I ordered the Miso chicken ramen and was sadly let down as it wasn't as flavorful as I had hoped. The appetizers and drinks were good though. After dinner, we headed to Ohayo Tea for boba before taking a tram ride back to our Airbnb.

On Tuesday we journeyed back home; taking a tram ride back to Manchester Piccadilly Station, then a train to Victoria Station in London where we explored the city for a bit before catching a train back to Brighton. My boyfriend flew back home to the U.S. on Wednesday, but not before I got a chance to take him to my favorite ice cream spot in Brighton: Creams Café!

Rollercoaster on Brighton Palace Pier
Rollercoaster on Brighton Palace Pier

Thursday was Halloween, and the university hosted a party at Brighton Palace Pier on the beach. Most of the students were dressed up in costumes. I threw on a cat ear headband and took a bus down to the beach with some friends. I can't remember the last time I went to an amusement park, and It was so exhilarating to ride all the rollercoasters.
